Tired of the platitudes

Sympathy without action…

And worst of all….apathy

Hearts that are uncaring

Politicians who are self-serving

A tiredness that is creeping up

But not going to defeat

Rest and a small break….

Clear the head

Restore the soul

And back at it tomorrow
