The sun came up one day and the whole world was different.
Concern and apprehension replaced smiles and laughter.
Food concerns and safe places replaced coffee dates and lunch.
Handshakes and hugs vanished and elbow bumps appeared.
News reports and isolation replaced gathering with family and friends.
Maps of the world grew larger and larger with disease locations.
Death tolls and spreading disaster moved closer and closer every day.
Human touch became blocked by social distancing.
Entire cities and counties shut down and isolation took place.
The world is changing in hyper speed right before our eyes.
May the cycle of disease stop soon!
Laughter needs to ring out again.
May the sun soon shine on a safe world again…..
