When a child is wounded the world is forever changed
If the soul of that child is dimmed by a senseless act of violence
We all suffer the consequences of diminished love and light in our world
Perhaps that child was destined to be a great scholar ……but is now silenced
A creative mind and great talent could be stiffled
Compassion and tolerence could change to hatred and rage
All because a child was mistreated………….
